AdWords Keyword Planner Is a New Traffic Estimator Tool

AdWords Keyword Planner is a traffic estimator tool, which became available on May 20 in all users AdWords accounts. Having been officially launched, this tool will combine the data from the Traffic Estimator and the Keyword Tool, the two of which will be closed within a 2 month period.

In order to access KeyWord Planer, users are supposed to log in to AdWords accounts. A version of KeyWord Tool allowing anyone, even non-AdWords users and SEOs, to access it and get general keyword research, will be also sunsetted in the near future. AdWords Keyword Planner is aimed to facilitate the process of creation new campaigns as well as new ad groups for advertisers with the help of the planner, which is the main point in obtaining one’s PPC accounts off to a great start. In fact, this largest change of the Google Keyword Tool seems to be almost unnoticed.

The new tool supports a number of workflows for creating ad groups and campaigns whether starting from the very beginning or using one’s existing lists. It has a more convenient and connected user experience due to the integration of keyword selection, analysis, and grouping. All in all, AdWords Keyword Planner will be able to efficiently substitute the Keyword Tool and the AdWords Traffic Estimator, completely changing the whole workflow. It can be perceived as an AdWords campaign building workshop, having a nice interface and convenient experience. It allows to analyze keywords in 3 ways, by keywords, by product category, and by landing page. The tool also provides nice filtering, which facilitates the whole process of choosing the necessary keywords significantly.
