Google Analytics Helps to Profit From AdWords

Google Analytics AdWords

It is hard to make the reality look like the client’s expectations, especially in case of web advertising. The customers think that Google AdWords will bring in return thousands of dollars without expenditure of time and efforts after several hours of learning how to use it. Though, the reality is a bit different from this image.

AdWords can be profitable even if a client spends moderate sums of money on it. The first ad position in Google hits the budget greatly, the fifth position costs less. The question is whether the investment matters that much. For example, the client can spend 10.000 dollars on buying the ad position number one and his month revenue will be 20.000 dollars. The investment will be returned. Though, if the client buys the fifth position for 5.000 dollars and earns 20.000 in 30 days, the return on investment will be 300 percent.

AdWords is becoming more and more complicated with the time and it is hard to understand all the nuances. Analytics might be helpful in finding effective ways to spend money.

There are some tips to find out the most profitable position in Google Analytics. The user should click on Advertising – Keyword positions in the sidebar menu. There he will find the information on his AdWords visits. According to the statistics, the first position is not a guarantee of success. To determine ROI the user should subtract ‘Spend” from ‘Total Revenue’ and divide by ‘Spend’. The user can also compare ‘Matched Search Queries’ with the Keyword report provided by the analytics. It might help in monitoring the current AdWords situation.
